"The Cynical" is the second single, of the Athens based artist Switters. It is a funny story actually, about the transformation of a romantic person to an insensitive and selfish hedonist, through the course of an unsuccessful relationship.

In this release Switters performed all the instruments by himself, in order to make this song as personal as it gets, and directed a humorous comic-based video clip to couple it.

Introduced by a screaming Stylophone (you know this vintage instrument right?) "The Cynical" musically is walking the thin line between the gravelly vocals and the mysterious percussions of Tom Waits, and the aggressive choruses of Jack White or his rock'n'roll ancestors.

Produced and mixed also by Switters at Strawberry Street studio and mastered by Antonis Tzortzis at Exceptional mastering, "The Cynical" is a song to dance, to sing along and even to do some...inner research!
